Soup & Bread returns for its eighth year at the Hideout! Join us January 6 (and every Wednesday for the next 13 weeks) for soups from some of Chicago’s best home cooks, and some fancy professionals as well. This coming week’s cooks include:

and our neighbors, Local Foods — whose staff will be making soup every darn week this year. This week’s cook is Stock Cafe’s Allison Scott.
Bread this year is donated by the wonderful bakers at Publican Quality Bread; and our opening night DJ is Bloodshot Records‘ own Rob Miller. Kids (with parent or guardian) are welcome.
